NHS PrEP trial

All Northern Sexual Health sites have now gone live for recruitment into the Impact PrEP trial. Please note there are limited places available for the service and dedicated waiting lists already in place across the sites. To be added to the waiting list or to find out if there are likely to still be places available please contact the following numbers. Young Person Clinic

The Northern Sexual Health service provides dedicated services for young people, of all ages, in Manchester, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford.

Confidentiality

Even if you’re under 16, you have the right to confidential contraceptive and sexual health services, including abortions.

Confidential means that clinics do not tell anyone unless they need to protect you or somebody else from a serious risk of harm.

Manchester

Stockport

Central Youth

Based in Stockport Town Centre Central Youth provides services for people under 25, including sexual health, counselling and more general advice and information from youth workers. Please see website for details and opening times: http://www.centralyouth.org.uk/ 

Tameside Young Peoples Clinics

Based at Ashton primary Care Centre in Ashton Town Centre these clinic sessions will see anyone under 25. Need details of opening times here once agreed

Trafford

Talkshop is based in Sale Town Centre and will see anyone under 19. The sexual health service runs alongside youth workers. See website for details and opening times: http://www.talkshoptrafford.co.uk  

Trafford College (Altrincham campus): We run a clinic on Thursday 11am – 2pm, where students can access contraception including emergency contraception, STI screening, pregnancy testing, condoms and advice.
