The Sexually transmitted infections foundation The course provides multidisciplinary training in the knowledge, skills and attitudes, skills, required for the diagnosis, management and prevention of STIs. It comprises approximately 10 hours of e-learning as preparation, followed by one STIF CORE/Foundation day and one STIF PLUS day.

The course is suitable for nurses, HCAs, health advisers and doctors from primary care, contraception/sexual health services, GUM services and secondary care clinicians who may encounter patients with STIs.
